A 12-year-old girl walked for the first time since a shark attacked her at a North Carolina beach.
The update was posted on a Facebook page set up to support Kiersten Yow.
The post read: "Yesterday, they came to put Kiersten in the chair to leave the room and she said 'I am not going back up the hall until I can walk up the hall.' Well today they called and got doc permission."

Kiersten lost an arm in the attack and suffered severe injuries to her left leg.
Her family said she has a lot of surgery and rehab ahead, but she is doing OK.
A 16-year-old boy who was also attacked the same day was released from New Hanover Regional Medical Center last Thursday.
Hunter Treschl, of Colorado, had his left arm amputated below his shoulder.
