"No more treatment, just a little bit of living like a real boy," they wrote on a Facebook. "Our goal is to use the rest of our time letting him LIVE like a normal child, since for six years, he hasn't be able to."

"I think I even recall saying one time I was feeling down, 'He'll never have his first love or first date,' but I was wrong; this was as real as it gets, and even some of us grown-ups could take a lesson from them," his mother, Amber Spisak, wrote on Facebook. "What an amazing thing!"
