"My son used the restroom first, and I used the restroom after him," the boy's mother told KTLA. "I noticed he was staring at the sink a little bit perplexed. I asked him what was wrong and he said, 'Mommy, why is there a phone under there?' And my skin kind of began to crawl."

The woman looked under the sink and saw a phone propped up by paper towels with the camera facing toward the toilet – running in a video-recording motion.

It is unknown who set the phone up or if the video was being sent anywhere.
