A window to the world, or at least New York City, has getting ready to open on top of 1 World Trade Center, giving an awe inspiring view of The Big Apple.
The trip to the new observatory costs $32 a person, but to be able to look out over the city that never sleeps may be priceless for some.
The New York Times got a preview before the May 29 opening, and found that unlike the original Windows on the World restaurant in the original World Trade Center's north tower, this obervatory does not have an open-air rooftop deck.
Despite being enclosed, the construction director for the project claimed you can see the curvature of the Earth on a clear day.
The Times negates that claim, saying you have to be higher than the 1,268 feet of the floor to see the curve.
But on a foggy day, you can rent an iPad for $15 to show you what you are missing.
But the Times said the public platform is on the 100th floor, while the 102nd is primarily an event space for rent.
