Auburn University's linebackers had plenty to celebrate Saturday night. The eighth-ranked Tigers improved to 3-0 with a 55-16 victory against Kent State, but the Auburn players got a thrill before kickoff when they met pro wrestling legend Ric Flair at the team hotel.

"He pulled up — he was at the team hotel, and it was so cool to meet him," Auburn linebacker Chandler Wooten told AL.com. "I was starstruck."

Flair, the 16-time world heavyweight wrestling champion and Hall of Famer, has become a familiar sight at Auburn. His stepson, Sebastian, is a freshman at the school, and Flair was seen on campus during orientation at the university.

Wooten, along with fellow linebackers K.J. Britt and Josh Marsh -- plus linebackers coach Travis Williams -- caught up with the Nature Boy at the hotel after the game and took a photo with Flair, AL.com reported.

“Wooooooo!!!!!” Williams wrote in a tweet, echoing Flair’s signature scream.
