Woman with heart condition dies after robbery, police say

A 23-year-old woman with a heart condition died after she was robbed, police said.

Raven Lassiter was leaving a party around 9:30 p.m. Dec. 1 when a man with a knife approached her, according to WBRL.

The man took off with Lassiter’s purse, police said. Lassiter was taken to a hospital, where she later died.
