Flowers were not required at Elaine Fydrych's funeral last week, at the request of the deceased.
Instead, the 63-year-old, who had a sense of humor, had a request of a different kind for her friends and family: Don't vote for Hillary Clinton.
Not only was her request her way of making a political statement, but "it was also a comical punch line or a comical view of the way she looked at the world and her politics," her husband Joe said.
Every local newspaper printed Fydrych's death notice as instructed, except for the Philadelphia Inquirer, according to a report. The newspaper site published it on its website, however. It was not immediately clear why it was omitted from the paper.
