A California woman, who had been missing for months, has been found in a car that had been parked in a Walmart parking lot for possibly three months.

Lauren Moss was last seen on Nov. 13, 2015, when she left a rehab center. She was reported missing and police opened a missing person case.

Fast forward to last week, when Walmart employees noticed a silver Volkswagen Jetta that had been parked outside of the Salinas, California store on Feb. 3, KSBW reported.

Police looked at security footage that went back as far as December, and it showed the car in the same spot.

Walmart officials said they do not have security patrolling the parking lot overnight, but have the 24-hour surveillance camera.

Moss' cause of death has not been determined.

But her sister told KSBW that a suicide note was found and a drug needle was found in the car.

Police said Moss' death was probably a suicide.
