A woman has been charged with misdemeanor child abuse after allegedly leaving two small kids in her car while shopped. Bond was set at $5,000.

Janeth Trejo, 31, was arrested on Monday outside a Walmart store.

Officers said a 7-year-old girl and 2-year-old boy were discovered in the hot car. The engine was off, and it was close to 90 degrees outside.

The kids were rushed to a hospital; there was no immediate word on their conditions.
