Raspberry gelato sold throughout the country at Whole Foods grocery stores is being recalled because mislabeled packages don’t indicate egg as an ingredient.

The issue was discovered after employees determined 1-pint containers of Butter Cookies and Sweet Cream Italian Gelato were mistakenly packed in containers labeled Raspberry Cheesecake Italian Gelato, according to the Food and Drug Administration
The impacted products have a best by date of 6/11/2021. All affected products were removed from store shelves.

No adverse reactions have been reported.

Customers can get a full refund through Whole Foods with a valid receipt.
