Whistleblower Edward Snowden joins Twitter, follows one notable account

Edward Snowden joined Twitter Tuesday with the handle @Snowden

Snowden flew to Moscow, Russia, in 2013 after leaking classified information from the NSA. The U.S. Department of Justice charged him with two counts of violating the Espionage Act and theft of government property.
