A little girl came to the rescue of her mother after she suffered a seizure.

Lakeisha Andrew posted on her Facebook page that she collapsed last month in her Louisiana home due to a seizure and her daughter, 2-year-old Lauryn, called 911 on her own.

Andrew said her daughter told the dispatcher what happened and opened the door on her own for the deputies and paramedics.

In the Facebook post, Andrew said deputies told her husband that if Lauryn would not have opened the door, they would have kicked it down.

Andrew later recovered from her collapse.

The 911 operator and paramedics honored Lauryn about a week later by giving her an award and a special teddy bear.

Andrew said that her daughter will always be her little angel.
