Dramatic video posted to YouTube shows a New Smyrna Beach professional surfer being rescued after he was knocked out by a massive wave in Hawaii.

Andre Botha rescued New Smyrna Beach native Evan Geiselman from the water Sunday during the Pipeline surfing competition in Oahu's North Shore .
The video shows Botha trying to give Geiselman mouth-to-mouth while they’re still in the water.
Several other people went to Geiselman's aid, including Mick Fanning, an Australian surfer who gained national attention when video of him punching a shark that was about to attack him during a competition in South Africa went viral.
Geiselman’s brother said in a Facebook post Monday that Geiselman is recovering and “getting back to his senses” with a photo of Geiselman with sensors stuck to his chest in a hospital bed.
