Many national retail stores have pulled the Confederate flag from their shelves after nine people were killed in a church shooting in Charleston, South Carolina.

A Louisiana man last week asked a Walmart in Slidell, Louisiana, to make him a cake with the Confederate flag design on it.

Chuck Netzhammer was told that the store wouldn't make the cake for him.

In an apparent test of the store's policy, Netzhammer asked for a second cake, this time with the design of the Islamic State flag.

Walmart made the ISIS flag cake with no questions asked.

The company later admitted it was a mistake, and apologized.

"An associate in a local store did not know what the design meant and made a mistake. The cake should not have been made and we apologize."

Netzhammer posted a video on YouTube about his experience.
