All a 10-year-old boy wanted for his birthday on Monday was friends and a water balloon battle and his mother went to Facebook hoping to make his wish come true.
She didn't expect that the story would go viral and that the wish of a few playmates for her child would turn into hundreds.
Camden Eubank has apraxia of speech, coupled with hyperactivity and has trouble articulating words and saying sounds. Eubank's parents decided that homeschooling was best for her son. With few friends and his speech issues, Camden's mother went to Facebook to find a few people to help toss 2,000 water balloons.

Within 30 minutes, The Roanoke Times reported that the request went viral. On Reddit, the thread reached more than 4,500 Redditors.
Camden's dream came true on Monday when 300 people met the boy at Troutville Park to celebrate his big day, The Roanoke Times reported.
The original plan for only 2,000 balloons were not enough for the crowd. Another 3,000 were donated. In 10 minutes, all 5,000 balloons were busted.
Camden told The Roanoke Times that his new friends and the party were exactly what he wanted for his 10th birthday.
