In surveillance video footage that has quickly gone viral, Santa Ana police officers appear to eat products at a marijuana dispensary that they were raiding.
The L.A. Times claims one officer appears to give the thumbs-up sign as he consumes the marijuana edible.
Sky High Holistic was raided on May 26 for operating without a permit. A cease-and-desist order filed in February had allegedly been ignored by the shop’s owner.
The shop’s manager, Marla James, an amputee who uses a wheelchair, claims police made fun of her physical condition during the raid.
The allegations are being investigated. The officers involved in the raid are not on administrative leave.
