Video: 8-year-old miraculously survives getting hit by car after getting off school bus

A Tempe, Arizona, boy will miraculously be OK after surveillance footage shows a driver knocking him over as he got off the school bus.

Video shows the boy crossing the street on his skateboard when a car slams him to the pavement. Zion had just gotten off the bus in his Arizona neighborhood. He suffered a few nasty scrapes and a fractured foot.

Now police are looking for the driver.

“You can see in the video, the people in the vehicle know they hit somebody because they hit their brake lights, and then they take off,” said Lt. Michael Pooley with the Tempe Police Department.
