A Pittsburgh high school teacher is under investigation after video surfaced allegedly showing him throwing a chair in a classroom.

There were two videos of the incident.

According to reports, the teacher was upset that students were throwing things.

Pittsburgh Public Schools Public Information Officer Ebony Pugh said the following in a statement: "A Pittsburgh Westinghouse teacher was sent home Tuesday after reports that he threw a chair in a classroom. According to reports, students were throwing food. The teacher apparently lost his temper and threw the chair. The teacher was sent home with pay."
