A YouTube video appears to show a Chicago driver who was not going to have his car towed without putting up a fight.
According to
, the white Jeep is already hooked up to the tow truck in a Walgreens parking lot. The driver is seen still sitting in the vehicle, yelling to the tow truck driver. A few moments later, the driver breaks free and speeds away down the road.
The video is titled “Tow Truck ESCAPE River North Chicago” and since being uploaded on Sunday, it has over 200,000 views.
Commenters praised the driver.
"Good for that guy!" said one person, and "that guy is my hero now" said another.
Some are skeptical that it all may just be a set-up, but it's still entertaining to watch.
