Aaron Santis was hoping to accomplish one thing Sunday at New York City's Pride Parade: getting one of New York's finest to dance.

Santis had no luck until his last go at it, which is when, as seen in the video, an unnamed officer enthusiastically welcomed Santis' gesture and released his stoic stance.

A member of Santis' LGBT softball team, Paige Pozenka, captured the moment on camera--as seen in the video above.

"I didn't expect him to get into it as much as he did," Santis said to BuzzFeed afterward.

As heard in the video, the crowd loves it too.

"It was such a fun moment," Santis added. "He was such a good sport and I’m so glad he decided to dance."
