DiMartino, alongside her trainer, who is also an amputee, ran the last few miles of the race and crossed the finish line. Injured after the first blast in 2013, DiMartino had her leg amputated last November, a year and a half after the bombings.

Gregory also testified during the first phase of the trial against now-convicted bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, and wrote a letter to him on her Facebook page after her day in court was finished.
