Twin brothers stole $26K worth of beer, cigarettes during 70 convenience store thefts, police say

April 22, 2019Twin brothers stole more than $26,000 worth of beer, cigarettes and cash during a spate of more than 70 convenience store robberies, investigators said.
Brothers Jorge and Alberto Luna committed about two thefts a week from Circle K stores in Glendale and West Phoenix from August 2018 to about April 2019, KNXV reported.
Investigators said they would then sell the beer for $10 to $15 a case to pay for their drug habits, KNXV reported.
They were arrested and charged with theft, KNXV reported.
