Fewer Americans spank their kids these days, but a whopping majority say it’s OK.

Sister Rosalina would certainly have agreed. I can still see her standing in front of me and letting loose with a roundhouse open-handed right to the face after I declared a teacher’s accusation against me was a lie.

But I thought those days were long gone. Guess I’d better think again.
