Military homecomings are great, but when that's not possible for the holidays, online Christmas cards are a way for families to connect.
The Facebook page Our Military Love Story shares cards, photos and inspiration for couples separated because of deployment.
One clever card has been shared 40,000+ times.
In it, Staff Sgt. Joshua Baugh, shown on the left, was in Kuwait holding a sign that says, "Merry" and puckering up for a kiss while his wife, Katrina, and their two kids, seen on the right, were back home are holding a banner that says, "Christmas."
The best part? The card is from last year, according to the Huffington Post. The family was together in St. Augustine, Florida, for Christmas this year.
"The holidays are so much more meaningful when we are all together," Katrina said.
