2. Nova wins it all: The NCAA men's basketball championship certainly did not disappoint Monday night. After the lead changed hands throughout the game, Villanova went up on North Carolina in the final minutes. The Tar Heels fought back to tie the game on a three-point bucket with a minute left, only to see Villanova drive the ball down the court to hit a buzzer-beating shot to clinch the championship, 77-74.
3. Election investigation: The U.S. Department of Justice in investigating last month's presidential nominating contest in Arizona's most populous county – Maricopa. The department is looking into claims of long lines at polling places that serve large numbers of minority voters.
4, Helicopter crash: Five people were killed Monday when a sightseeing helicopter crashed in the Tennessee mountains. "There was not much left of the helicopter," said Pigeon Forge Police Chief Jack Baldwin. "There's just a small piece of the tailwing and that's about what's left of the helicopter." Witnesses reported hearing explosions prior to the crash.
