What to know now

1. Super Bowl 50: The Denver Broncos, behind the play of Peyton Manning and a dominating defense, won Super Bowl 50 Sunday, defeating the Carolina Panthers 24-10.  The Broncos never trailed in the game that could be Manning's last. The 39-year-old is rumored to be ready to announce his retirement from the NFL. The other starting quarterback in Sunday's game, Cam Newton, is drawing some fire for walking out of the post-game press conference after only a couple of minutes.

2. North Korean rocket: The launch of a long-range rocket by North Korea over the weekend has been denounced by the United Nations Security Council as an "intolerable provocation." According to the Council, a new resolution with "significant" sanctions against North Korea will be drawn up early this week. According to reports, the country's leader, Kim Jong Un, ignored requests from ally China not to launch the rocket.

3. New Hampshire primary: The first primary of the 2016 election cycle takes place Tuesday in New Hampshire. National polls show Bernie Sanders leading Hillary Clinton in the New Hampshire Democratic race, and Donald Trump ahead on the Republican side.

4. Officers names, address to be published: After a fatal officer-involved shooting in San Antonio last week, a newspaper in that city says it will publish the names and addresses of the entire San Antonio police force. The publisher of San Antonio Observer, a weekly tabloid, said the paper would publish the names and addresses after San Antonio Police officer John Lee "unjustly murdered"  Antronie Scott last Thursday. Said publisher Stephanie Zarriello during a press conference, "Like Ku Klux Klansman with hoods, [officers] do everything they can in order to protect their identities for fear of being brought to justice."

5. Carnival Parade shooting: Two people were killed and at least four others wounded during a parade Sunday in Pass Christian, Miss. According to witnesses, at least 12 shots were fired at the parade celebrating Mardi Gras, which is Tuesday.

And one more

If you're craving a burrito from Chipotle for lunch today, you're gonna have to wait.  Restaurants will not be opening until 3 p.m. Monday so employees can attend a company-wide seminar  on food safety. Last month, Chipotle announced that all its stores would hold the seminars to educate employees about food-borne illness after 175 customers were sickened after eating at restaurants in various states.
