While the annual meteor show will be visible during the night on Dec. 13 and into the early morning hours of Dec. 14, it will have some competition from a supermoon, according to Earth Sky. Instead of seeing the usual 120 meteors an hour when the sky is dark, you'll likely see a still impressive 40 meteors an hour.
