How about a do-over: Following a stunning referendum last week that signaled the end of the United Kingdom's membership in the European Union, more than 3 million U.K. residents have signed a petition calling for another vote on Brexit. The petition was posted before the vote to leave the EU took place Thursday. The petition says that if the either side won by less than 60 percent of the vote, that a second referendum should be held. The UK voted 52 percent to 48 percent to leave the EU.
2. Protesters clash: White nationalists and those protesting their planned rally, clashed Sunday in Sacramento, Calif., leaving 10 people wounded - two of them with life-threatening injuries. Law enforcement officials said 30 members of the Traditionalist Worker Party were confronted by about 400 counter-protesters Sunday when the violence broke out.
3. Clinton leading in new polls: Two polls released over the weekend has Hillary Clinton ahead of Donald Trump in the fall general election. A Washington Post/ABC News poll puts Clinton up 12 percentage points against Trump, 51-39. A Wall Street Journal/NBC poll has Clinton up by only five percentage points, 46-41.
4. Pat Summitt: Former Tennessee women's basketball coach Pat Summitt is said to be in failing health and family members are "preparing for the worse," according to a family spokesman. Summitt, 64, announced in 2011 that she had been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. Summitt's family released a statement Sunday saying, "the past few days have been difficult for Pat as her early onset dementia, Alzheimer's Type progresses." The hashtag #prayforpat has been trending on Twitter.
5. A tribute to Prince: Jennifer Hudson rocked the theater Sunday at the BET Awards with a tribute to Prince that lit up social media even before she sang her last note. Hudson, Stevie Wonder and Tori Kelly performed Prince's iconic, "Purple Rain." Shelia E. brought down the house as she drummed, danced and sang a tribute to her former mentor.
