Bobbi Kristina Brown, the daughter of singer Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston, died on July 26, 2015, in hospice care. She was 22.
1. She was thrust into the spotlight at a young age. Less than a year after Bobby Brown married Houston in 1992, Bobbi Kristina, the couple's only daughter together, was born March 4, 1993. Houston, who occasionally brought her daughter on stage, told Rolling Stone that having Bobbi Kristina was her greatest experience. "I could never do anything that could top that," Houston added.

As a preteen, Bobbi Kristina starred on her parents' reality show, Bravo's "Being Bobby Brown," in 2005. Later, the aspiring singer performed with her mother on "Good Morning America" in 2009 – two years after her parents divorced.
Following Houston's February 2012 death in a hotel bathtub, Bobbi Kristina returned to reality TV in Lifetime's "The Houstons: On Our Own." The show focused on Bobbi Kristina's romantic relationship with Nick Gordon – an orphan whom Houston raised with her daughter – and their families.
2. Bobbi Kristina had trouble coping with her mother's death. Houston was found dead Feb. 11, 2012, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel before the Grammy Awards. According to The Associated Press, "evidence of heart disease and cocaine" were found in her system. Bobbi Kristina reportedly became hysterical and was hospitalized.
The next month, Bobbi Kristina spoke to Oprah Winfrey about her mother's death. "I'm doing as good as I possibly can at this point," she told Winfrey. "I'm just trying to keep going."
3. The circumstances surrounding Bobbi Kristina's death and her mother's are strikingly similar. Bobbi Kristina was found unresponsive and face-down in a bathtub Jan. 31, 2015, at the Roswell, Georgia, home she shared with Gordon, whom she called her husband, although there are no court records of their marriage. Gordon and a friend told police that they found her in the bathtub and started CPR. Police took over life-saving measures until rescue crews arrived. She was taken to North Fulton Hospital and was eventually taken to Emory University Hospital, where she spent months. Last month, she was moved to hospice care.
4. Tensions grew among family members following Bobbi Kristina's hospitalization. According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Bobbi Kristina's court-appointed representative has sued Gordon, alleging physical violence and financial impropriety. Some media outlets also reported that a member of the extended family tried to sell a photo of the incapacitated woman to tabloids, spurring outrage among her relatives.
5. Bobbi Kristina died Sunday, nearly six months after her hospitalization. "Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away Sunday, July, 26 2015, surrounded by her family," the Houston family said in a statement. "She is finally at peace in the arms of God. We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months."
