Bull semen is big business and one Minnesota farmer is out a lot of money.

KAAL-TV reports somebody recently stole a frozen canister from a barn belonging to Daniel Weness.  The canister contained several vials of bull sperm, worth $70,000.

"There is a market for this, a lot of people bid on it or purchase it instead of transporting their animals to and from site," Mark May, chief deputy with the Mower County Sheriff's Office, said to Valley News Live. "They can purchase this vial of bull semen and inseminate their cow and I guess it's just a more reliable way to do it."

So far, there are no suspects.
