Fans of “House of Cards” and “Orange is the New Black” are seemingly making character names the most popular baby names of 2014.
BabyCenter released its top 100 baby names of 2014 on Tuesday.
Powerhouse names Jackson and Sophia topped the boy and girl list respectively. BabyCenter global editor Linda Murray said Jackson has “staying power” and, “Sophia is arguably the Jennifer of its generation.”

BabyCenter’s most popular names for boys are:

The list is based on the names of more than 400,000 babies born this year to parents registered on the BabyCenter website. The official U.S. government name popularity list comes out in the spring.
