Asked her feelings about Wilson, who killed Brown on Aug. 9, 2014, after stopping him for walking in the street, Lezley McSpadden called him “the devil.”

"He's evil, his acts were devilish," she said in an interview with Al Jazeera.

In an interview in a current New Yorker magazine article , Wilson said he doesn't really reflect on Michael Brown.

“You do realize that his parents are suing me?” he told the New Yorker. “So I have to think about him…Do I think about who he was as a person? Not really, because it doesn’t matter at this point. Do I think he had the best upbringing? No. Not at all.”

In her interview with Al Jazeera, McSpadden said Wilson has it backward.

He’s the one who "didn’t have the right upbringing,” she said.
