Halloween is here, which means zombie season is officially upon us.
Luckily, Christopher Ingraham from the Washington Post is ready a potential zombie invasion, which is why he created a definitive guide for how gauge your area's "survivability" for when zombies strike.
An ideal setting for suvival has the following features: low population density, guns, military forces or experience, terrain difficult for zombies to navigate and bodies of water.
Appropriately enough, areas in the south (and Atlanta, where the show is filmed) have a low to very low risk of zombie survival whereas areas in the north and especially the west all have high zombie survivability factors.
Because the zombie apocalypse isn't actually real, it's especially fun to discuss the "what if" and how to be prepared.
You can adjust the settings specific to your surroundings here, which is also where Ingraham explains his analysis for each factor and the data he used.
