You've probably heard of unlimited drink refills, but how about unlimited appetizers? TGI Fridays is hoping to lure more diners into its restaurants with just that.
This week, the national chain announced a summer-long promotion of endless appetizers. For just $10, each diner can order and re-order a single appetizer like mozzarella sticks or potato skins. (Via TGI Fridays)
You're only supposed to stick with that same appetizer, but a Fridays executive admitted to USA Today servers won't police customers who might want to share among a larger group.
And with other restaurants already offering similar discounted deals, such as Applebee's "Take Two Menu," analysts say the move is a way for Friday's to compete with its rivals.
The promo has been met with generally mixed reviews.

According to Fox Business, more diners are turning to smaller, fast-casual restaurants such as Panera Bread or Chipotle. As one analyst puts it, "Why go into a TGIFs, which is state of the art 1995 with the waiters with the tchotchkes, and pay $15 for a burger when I could go to Five Guys and pay $8.50?"
And as if you need another reason to ruin your bikini-season diet, an International Business Times writer makes sure to remind us just how many calories each extra round of loaded potato skins carries — a whopping 3,000!
But one writer for Bustle is a bit more approving: "For those of us who are no strangers to Loaded Potato Skins, ... we may as well rejoice at this amazing deal."
Well you do have time to rejoice. Though, again, it's limited. The endless appetizer promotion runs through Aug. 24.
