A mom, on her way to her kids' elementary school, found herself in a position to help police during a chase in Texas.
Police had been chasing a car driven by Monica Luna for miles when police said she nearly hit Miranda's car. Miranda did not want her last name released, KRPC reported. Luna and her passenger eventually got out of their car, which had been damaged during the chase.
As KRPC reported, a police officer was able to catch the passenger, Yolanda Ayala, but Luna kept running.

She left her car, running after Luna and caught up with her, holding Luna to the ground until police arrived.
