Joey Feek is down to the last days of her terminal cancer battle, according to her husband.

The country singer was able to celebrate Valentine's Day and her daughter's second birthday in the past few weeks. Now, her husband Rory Feek says she has fallen into a deep sleep for several days.

"She was ready to stop fighting and she told me so," wrote Rory in his latest blog post. "She said the flowers would soon be blooming back in Tennessee. It's time to go home."

Joey Feek entered hospice care late last year after doctors explained her cancer had stopped responding to treatment. Her family considered each additional day with her a "blessing."

Rory says she has already said her final goodbyes.

"Joey gathered her family around her and said goodbye to each of them. There were lots of tears as she explained to each one how much she loved them and that she was going to be going home soon.

"And then she asked me to bring our baby in. And so… I set out little Indy on Joey's lap and we all cried with my wife as she told her how much her mam loved her … and then she pulled Indiana up and she kissed her. One last kiss."

Since saying her goodbyes, Joey has been in a deep sleep, Rory says. He predicts she will "most likely be with us for a few more days... at most."

Despite her 40 short years, Rory says Joey lived to the fullest.

"Joey knew this and she has made each and every day count," wrote Rory. "One of the last things Joey said before she drifted into the deep sleep she’s been in for a few days now is, 'I have no regrets… I can honestly say, that I have done everything I wanted to do and lived the life I always wanted to live.'"
