A Pennsylvania language arts teacher faces sex crime charges after she was allegedly found straddling a 17-year-old male student in a parked car.
Katie Cross, 31, was jailed after her arrest and was later released on $150,000 unsecured bail, according to local reports.
A neighborhood resident called police after noticing a suspicious vehicle parked in front of a house. The caller said a woman was straddling a male in the front passenger seat in what appeared to be “an intimate encounter.”
When police arrived, officers said Cross identified herself as the teen’s teacher.
The teen later told police he had been with Cross in her car before and said they “kissed passionately” in her classroom several times before school started.
Cross was suspended from her teaching job at Collegium High School after her arrest.
