We didn't know the New York City subway had a dining car!

A group of commuters on a New York subway were treated Sunday night to a full spread of Thanksgiving dinner, including turkey, mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes, WPIX reported.

One of those who got to take part in the bounty told WPIX he had never seen so many people smiling on the train.

The staged viral stunt did have some people wondering if it was sanitary to eat on the train, WNBC reported.
