A sword-wielding man stabbed two people in a Deltona, Florida, home Wednesday evening, according to the Volusia County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies arrested Matthew Wilson, 40, early Thursday in connection with the crime. According to investigators, a caller said the attack happened about 8:45 p.m. when the female victim's ex-husband came to the house and stabbed her and her boyfriend with a long sword.
Both victims were transported to Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach. Both are expected to survive, according to investigators.
"It's not something you want to look forward to in your neighborhood, but it is Deltona so it's something you expect," neighbor Alissa Durham said.
