A storm blew through Ellis County, Kansas, turning over at least 20 tractor-trailers.
Weather forecasters at KWCH said the winds were blowing at 80 mph and also brought down high-voltage power lines that landed on the semis on Interstate 70.
The highway was closed due to the overturned trucks, The Wichita Eagle reported.
The winds also ripped a roof from a church in Hays, Kentucky. The roof landed on a parked car, KWCH reported.
The storm also brought flooding and power outages across Ellis County, the Eagle reported.
