Talk about a “hare-y rescue.”

Massachusetts State Police troopers have become heroes to one bushy tailed animal after they saved the life of a rabbit trapped on a busy bridge.

Dustin Finch, who happens to be the MSP social media specialist, posted the video to his Twitter account and it is going viral after a little editing. He sped up the action and added an appropriate score.

In the video, the trooper retrieved a box from his vehicle to help capture the bounding bunny on the Zakim Bridge. A second trooper then came to help capture the critter.

MassLive reports that it appears that the officers got their man -- err rabbit.
