A "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" showing at a California movie theater was briefly evacuated after a fire alarm was pulled, according to social media reports.
The alarm was triggered inside The Grove Theatre, but there was no immediate threat to the building or moviegoers, a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles Police Department said.
Hundreds of people were evacuated, according to KTLA. Witnesses told the station one screening of the highly anticipated movie was interrupted.
