A porch pirate took on unusual form when a home surveillance video Tuesday caught a squirrel stealing a package from out front of a California home.
The video shows the bushy-tailed rodent run by a first time before coming back moments later and leaving with the box, KNBC reported.
A neighbor noticed the pint-sized thief, was able to wrest control of the package and return it, KABC reported.
The homeowner now believes the squirrel is also to blame for previous packages found in the bushes around the porch, The Los Angeles Times reported.
