The super moon eclipse that happens this weekend is seen by some as a sign that the end is near.

That notwithstanding, the super moon lunar eclipse will be visible in North and South America, Africa and western Asia.

Weather permitting, Americans will be able to see the super moon after nightfall, and the eclipse will cast it into shadow beginning shortly after 8 p.m. Eastern Standard Time Sunday.

If clouds roll in Sunday night, fear not: NASA is providing a live stream of the super moon eclipse.
