Talk about creative.

Employees at Viking, an office supply company in the UK, built a cardboard castle, complete with functioning drawbridge, in response to a company directive to decorate their desks creatively.

The castle was built using 480 waste cardboard "bricks," 80 hot glue gun sticks, and stood almost 10 feet tall. Four employees built the castle after work.

Their colleagues were a bit surprised to see the cardboard structure the following day.

However, after a few days their employer had had enough.

"Love the creativity but we think it's time the castle came down now," read a note pinned to the cardboard castle and posted to Twitter.

So it was removed.

“Well, the madness ends here,” the company posted on Twitter. “The cleaners binned the whole castle. All things pass.”
