Former Washington D.C. Mayor Marion Barry died early Sunday morning. He was 78 years old. Barry had been released from Howard University Hospital a day earlier, according to the Associated Press. He served four terms as the mayor of the nation's capital. His legacy is tarnished by the one night he was caught smoking out of a crack pipe in a hotel room.
