Social media reaction to UNCC campus shooting
A man with a pistol opened fire on students in a classroom building at a North Carolina university during the last day of classes Tuesday.
The alleged shooter has been identified by a police source as Trystan A. Terrell, 22, and is in custody according to WSOC-TV.
People across the country took to social media to share their shock and support following the shooting.
We are in shock to learn of an active shooter situation on the campus of UNC Charlotte. My thoughts are with the families of those who lost their lives, those injured, the entire UNCC community and the courageous first responders who sprang into action to help others.
