A snake apparently crawled out from a car vent onto the dashboard where employees thought it was a toy, at first, then it moved, according to WTVR-TV.

"They were detailing his car and someone noticed a snake slithering on the dashboard," employee Brandon Leinberger told the news station. "Everyone was pretty surprised. Very surprised!"

Luckily for the snake, Leinberger likes animals. His father is the Animal Control Supervisor at Richmond Animal Care and Control, and he had snakes growing up. So he knew just what to do WTVR reported.

He was able to grab the reptile and release it safely away from the dealership.
