A Colorado teen is safe after sleepwalking nine miles from her Colorado home.

According to KDVR, Taylor Gammel, 19, was reported missing early Tuesday by her father, who said the back door of their Arvada home was left open.

Arvada police officers and Jefferson County sheriff's deputies began searching for Gammel, who apparently has a history of sleepwalking. Authorities used bloodhounds to track her route but lost her trail.

Later that morning, Gammel's uncle called police to report that she had showed up at his house, which is nine miles away in Westminster. Gammel was not not harmed, KDVR reports.
