Authorities in Maryland are investigating after Six Flags America received a bomb threat and two suspicious packages were discovered at the park on Wednesday.
A bomb squad determined neither of suspicious packages were explosive, said Mark Brady, spokesman for the Prince George Fire Department.
Prince County fire and police departments were at the park in Upper Marlboro before 11:30 a.m. Brady confirmed the park had received a bomb threat before the packages were found.
Authorities did not specify what the suspicious packages were or detail the threat made against Six Flags America.
Park officials confirmed on social media that Six Flags was closed as a precaution and would remain that way until the scene was cleared.
